Board Certified in Marital and Family Law since 1995 - Board Certification is the highest form of recognition by the Florida Bar of competency and experience in an area of law.  Recipients must pass a rigorous exam, be recommended by peers and judges and establish a record of experience by substantial participation in the field for a period of five years prior to the certification process. Certified attorneys are required to recertify every five years by showing continued substantial involvement in the field and recommendations by peers and judges. 

Practicing in Brevard County since 1984 - Prior to opening her own practice in 1992 Julie Glocker Pierce worked for general practice firms and handled cases in construction litigation, personal injury, and commercial litigation as well as marital and family and probate cases.  During law school Ms. Pierce worked for the trust tax division of a national bank. 1993/1994 adjunct professor of estate planning, probate and estate administration Brevard Community College; Pro Bono Attorney of the Year 2000;  Member Vasser B. Carlton American Inns of Court, Best Program Award 1997, Pupi 1988 - 91, Barrister 1997-1999, Master 2012 to present; Family Law Section of the Florida Bar - Special Needs of Children Committee, The Florida Bar Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee 1989-91, 18th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee 2002-05

Served the community as a religious education instructor 2001-2006 and a member of the Advisory Board for Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 2001-present; Founding member of the board of CARE a support and education nonprofit  for women with gynecologic cancers 2014 - present; Board of the Haven center for abused and abandoned children 1994-1998; Junior League of South Brevard 1991-1996
